Providing your
Children with a sound and secure education |
Pre-School
Learning the world Our purpose as a pre-school is to provide an enriching educational environment for young children and their parents, one that fosters a love of learning, awareness of self and others, and a sense of accomplishment built on a child's natural curiosity. We incorporate the knowledge and skills of parents and staff to create a child-centered environment within the multi - cultural and intergenerational Prima community. Prima International Pre-school programme fosters social and cognitive development of young children. A key concept of our pre-school is readiness training, which is where the children will learn skills that will prepare them for formal instruction later. Your children will be so busy having fun, they won't realize they are learning all the while. In keeping with the Department for Education's guidelines our curriculum covers the Foundation Stage of the National Curriculum which is designed for children from 3 to 5 years of age and is based on six main areas:
In each of these six areas the children's progress is marked at key stages by prescribed "Early Learning Goals" and we plan the children's activities and experiences accordingly. Prima International Pre-school School offers pre-school classes for children ages two, three, and four as well as extended care programs. We are in session from September through early June. We offer full-day and half day educational programs.

The Hug
Our Pre-school programs are carefully planned to be developmentally appropriate. We recognize and cherish each child's stage of development. We listen to each child, and we keep parents informed as we assess each child's growth and development. The staff at PRIMA Internation Pre-school are committed to provide children with the best care and security in a fun, educational and loving environment. Diet, health and fitness are also an intrinsic part of the care provided. This will help the children to optimise their potential for creativity, concentration and learning through example and participation. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
