PRIMA International School is a certifed member of the Cambridge International Primary Programme. While children are in their early years of learning they begin to acquire elementary skills and knowledge. The Cambridge International Primary Programme prepares children for the later stages of education and helps them achieve success in learning and life.

PRIMA International School has adopted the Cambridge International Primary Programme because we feel that the Primary Programme is an excellent preparation tool for the next phase in your child's education. This programme identifies the recommended learning objectives for each year of elementary education in the three core subjects, Mathematics, English and Science. This programme also helps identify student's strengths and weaknesses and can be used to support learning and development.

Our Primary Framework has been designed to link seamlessly with Cambridge Checkpoint. What is Cambridge Checkpoint? The Cambridge Checkpoint curriculum is for students in the 11-14 age range who are beginning courses leading to Cambridge IGCSE programme and to advanced qualifications like Cambridge A and AS Levels. It consists of a set of formal, diagnostic assessments (offered at three times during the year) in English, Mathematics and Science, which provide invaluable information on the student's strengths and weaknesses. As a Cambridge Centre, Checkpoint enables PRIMA International School to monitor group and individual performance, predict performance in final examinations and tailor individual students' learning programmes.

PRIMA International School provides top quality teaching resources in the Primary Programme to support teaching and learning. By following this programme our school can provide detailed, structured reporting to parents. Our students and parents demand a quality service and CIE helps us provide this through high-quality syllabuses and reliable assessment.
